COOK (FULL TIME)

Flik Hospitality Group Job Summary We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Cook position. Location: New York Giants – 50 State Route 120, East Rutherford, NJ 07073. Schedule: Monday‑Friday with occasional weekends; rotations of 5:30a‑3:00p or 10:30a‑8:00p, 10–12 hour shifts. Pay Range: $19.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour. Online applications accepted only. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules. Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Taste all prepared food items. Use established ticket collection procedures during service. Maintain records of area worked during service periods. Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food‑handling procedures. Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensure food and supply items are stored per standards. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed. Assist in production planning, record‑keeping, and reporting as required. Assist in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as needed. Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately. Attend in‑service and safety meetings. Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers. Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards. Commit personally to your own safety and that of others. Qualifications Previous cook experience required. Strong knife skills required. Background screening may be required (Florida Level2).
