Warehouse Equipment Operator
Our client, a leading supply chain and logistics company, is seeking experienced Warehouse Equipment Operators for their distribution facility located in Sayreville, NJ. This is a contract position with 2 openings, offering full-time hours on a weekly time sheet basis. This role is 100% on-site with no travel required.
Contract Details:
- Duration: Approximately 2,080 total hours
- Schedule: 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM - Finish, Monday - Friday (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week)
- Note: Mandatory six-day work week during the first week of each month; extended shifts up to 12 hours and overtime may be required based on business needs
- Location: Sayreville, NJ (on-site)
- Travel: None
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Raymond Reach Trucks and I-Warehouse machines
- Operate counterbalance forklifts, double blade pallet jacks, and cherry pickers
- Perform put-away, replenishment, and picking operations
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory management
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Support general warehouse duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating Raymond Reach Trucks
- Minimum 1 year of experience with I-Warehouse machines
- Experience operating counterbalance forklifts
- Experience with double blade pallet jacks
- Experience operating cherry pickers
- General warehouse experience
- Proficiency with RF scanners
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including extended shifts and mandatory six-day work weeks as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in warehouse equipment operation
- Experience in high-volume distribution center environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
