As the principal teaching facility for the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, the Huntington VA provides physicians with opportunities to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students and residents while helping shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Our medical center serves Veterans throughout southern West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio and offers a comprehensive continuum of care, including:

* State-of-the-art Gastroenterology services

Position Highlights

As a Gastroenterologist within the Medical Service, you will:

Practice independently within a collaborative specialty team

Diagnose and treat disorders involving:

• Esophagus

• Stomach

• Small intestine

• Colon and rectum

• Pancreas

• Gallbladder

• Biliary system

• Liver

Perform and assist with gastroenterological procedures

Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient GI care

Participate in educational activities with Marshall University learners

Work primarily at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center campus

Enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule

Monday - Friday
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

No RVU pressure. No production quotas. Focus on patient care.
