Do you have custodian experience? Luttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Custodian Technician positions in Abingdon, VA.

Details for Custodian Technician position:

• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

• $17/hr to $17/hr

• Zero Fees - you'll never be charged for any screening service

• Weekly Pay

Job Duties for Custodian Technician :

• Clean and maintain county buildings

• Sweep, mop floors, empty waste cans, vacuum/clean carpets, clean windows

• Perform minor servicing and repair to buildings and structures

• Inspections of buildings and grounds during daily work schedule to determine cleaning, repairs, and maintenance needed

• Report any need for major work to Director

• Ensure that all water, sewer, and lighting fixtures function properly and perform servicing and repair to same as necessary

• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place

• Complete any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications for Custodian Technician :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of training and/or experience in trades, maintenance and/or custodial services

• 2 years of training or responsible experience preferred

• Must be capable of performing work requiring moderate physical effort

• Must have general knowledge of safety prevention techniques and practices

• Regular attendance during normal operating hours is required

• Ability to stand for duration of shift

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, walk and reach
