This position will report to the Lead Optometric Assistant. Pay range: $15.75-$20/hr Job Responsibilities Understand, monitor, and ensure the smooth execution of office processes, including coding and optometric materials, insurance benefits, patient collection, and documentation Call patients regarding appointment confirmations, reminders, cancellations, no shows, and recalls Support optometrists during eye exams by preparing patient, performing initial pre-tests, and recording results Accompany patients and parents during exams to pre-test the patient and assist Optometrist in scribing and finding a good fit for glasses Perform vision tests such as visual acuity, color vision, stereo, confrontations, pupils, ICT, and administer dilation drops Help patients select frames and lenses based on prescriptions #J-18808-Ljbffr
