Job Description Our client, a leading global communications and marketing agency, is seeking a Vice President, Digital Account Manager, to lead social and digital communications for a major national retail/fashion brand. This is a high-visibility role overseeing always-on social programming and integrated campaigns reaching millions of consumers. The ideal candidate is a true digital and social-first leader (not a traditional PR background) who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment, understands modern consumer behavior online, and can turn ambitious ideas into flawless execution. This person is comfortable developing long-term strategic recommendations, presenting confidently to senior clients, and rolling up their sleeves alongside their team. On some workstreams this person will serve as the primary client lead; on others, they''ll operate as the digital/social lead supporting a broader account structure — managing autonomously while receiving oversight. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Lead social and digital strategy across integrated campaigns and always-on programming, from strategy through execution Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior clients, confidently presenting recommendations and influencing decision-making Lead and inspire a large, multidisciplinary team through coaching, mentorship, clear feedback, and career development Partner across creative, strategy, influencer, paid media, analytics, production, and earned teams to deliver integrated work Manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously while maintaining quality, speed, and attention to detail Anticipate client needs, proactively solve problems, and identify opportunities to grow the business Champion innovation by staying ahead of emerging platforms, trends, technology, and best practices (including TikTok and other social platforms) Build executive-ready presentations and compelling narratives that clearly communicate strategy and results Create clarity across cross-functional teams, ensuring projects move efficiently and collaboratively Take on day-to-day programming responsibilities and absorb workstreams as needed during ramp-up Provide strategic direction even when not functioning purely as a strategist — comfortable jumping in to give a point of view Qualifications At least 8 years of relevant experience in digital marketing and communications, ideally at a large agency with strong social media and digital account management experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Local to NYC, with ability to be onsite 3 days/week upon conversion to FTE Preferred Qualifications 10 years of experience leading social and digital programs within an integrated, digital, or communications agency Background at a large, digitally-forward agency network Deep expertise in owned social strategy, content development, and integrated marketing Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into compelling client narratives Proven experience leading large teams while fostering a positive, high-performing culture Strong executive presence and experience building trusted relationships with senior clients and cross-functional stakeholders Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with sound judgment, urgency, and attention to detail Experience partnering with creative, strategy, influencer, paid media, and analytics teams to deliver measurable business results Genuine interest in fashion, retail, and shopping/consumer behavior Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
