Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a dynamic and fast-paced Emergency Department. This role requires a strong background in critical care nursing with the capability to handle a wide range of acute medical conditions.
Shift Details
- Shift: Mid 3x12-Hour (14:30 - 03:00)
- Weekends Required: Yes
- Float Requirements: Yes
Responsibilities
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care for a diverse range of cases from low to high acuity including trauma and critically ill patients.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilizing innovative technology and charting systems for patient management.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting.
- Must have experience with EPIC electronic health records.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
- First-time travelers accepted with prior relevant experience.
Additional Information
This position guarantees 60 hours per two-week period. All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted during the application process, and candidates are encouraged to remain flexible regarding holiday shifts.
Unit Details
The Emergency Department is a large unit that accommodates a variety of patient needs, including:
- Level 2 adult trauma care.
- Level 3 pediatric trauma care.
- Primary stroke and thrombectomy receiving center.
- STEMI receiving capabilities.
Dress Code
Scrub colors are flexible; however, reddish-orange hues are not permitted.
