Recreational Therapist

Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

A Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist who in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team develops a plan of care for each therapy patient and provides skilled recreational therapy services in accordance with physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of current experience in Recreation Therapy preferred
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) per state/client requirement
• Water Safety and Health Fitness Instructor certifications preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
