A leading manufacturing company in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Welder to join its team. This is a direct hire opportunity for a skilled professional with MIG and TIG welding experience who enjoys working in a hands-on production environment.

ResponsibilitiesWelding & Fabrication

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other alloys
• Fabricate, assemble, and modify metal components according to specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment, fixtures, and related machinery
• Grind, deburr, and finish welded products to meet quality standards
• Assist with repairs, rework, and modifications as needed

Blueprint Reading & Assembly

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and engineering drawings
• Verify dimensions and specifications using measuring tools
• Assemble products and components according to production requirements

Quality & Production Support

• Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process
• Ensure finished products meet company and customer specifications
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions
• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Properly use welding PPE and safety equipment
• Contribute to a positive team-oriented culture

QualificationsRequired

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of MIG and TIG welding experience
• Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Authorized to work in the United States

Preferred

• AWS, SMAW, GMAW, or GTAW certifications
• Experience in ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of ASME, AWS, and API standards
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Physical Requirements
