Facilities Manager

Overview Facilities Manager (H40-2026-25459) Bowhead seeks a Facilities Managerto support a newly awarded contract in Dahlgren, VA. This contract will provide configuration management (CM), logistics, mechanical and electrical engineering technician services, field service support, project management, drafting and design, technical writing, and acquisition services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Unmanned & Expeditionary Weapon Systems (H40) Division and Intelligent Automation (H60) Division. Responsibilities Job Duties to include but are not limited to: With input from PL and team members, create briefs for leadership Able to be proficient in MS Project to assist with maintaining program schedule Should be able to pro-actively engage with the team to address potential issues Will need to have experience with preparing cost estimates as well and financial tracking Actively work with the team to identify, track, and address program risk Other duties as assigned Qualifications Associates (or higher) in business or related degree AND five (5) years professional experience which includes four (4) years specialized experience in analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of program operations in meeting established goals, requirements, and objectives. Experience in developing life cycle cost analyses of projects and/or performing cost benefit or economic evaluations of current or projected programs; analyzing information to develop program reporting systems including the systems specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and systems evaluation methodology. Experience analyzing new or proposed legislation, regulations, or requirements to determine impact on program operations, engineering design, or security. Experience developing management and/or program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology;analyzing and evaluating proposed changes in mission or operating procedures. Experience with work management tools such as Atlassian, Jira, and Confluence. Proficiency in the utilization of the Microsoft Office suite. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
