Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (10:30–21:00) with Rotating Day Off | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural interventions in the PACU setting
• Monitor and assess patient condition, vital signs, and recovery progress following anesthesia
• Apply strong critical thinking skills to manage a broad range of surgical cases encountered in the unit
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team to ensure safe and timely patient transitions
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license (must be in-hand prior to start)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Active Nursys profile required
• Strong PACU clinical experience with the ability to manage the majority of case types seen in the unit
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
