Position Overview

Valiant Residential is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and delivering an exceptional new hire onboarding experience. This position is critical in attracting top talent, fostering a welcoming and supportive onboarding environment, and ensuring a seamless transition for new employees into the organization. 

Work Schedule: This position requires a 100% in-office schedule, Monday through Friday . Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available. Our office is conveniently located just north of Downtown Dallas near US-75 and Walnut Hill Lane.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions. 
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to match them with organizational needs and culture. 
• Partner with hiring managers to identify job requirements and create compelling job postings. 
• Maintain and manage job boards, applicant tracking systems, and recruitment pipelines. 
• Coordinate and participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to build a strong talent pipeline. 
• Conduct background checks, verify references, and manage offer processes. 
• Design and deliver comprehensive new hire orientation sessions to educate employees about company policies, culture, and values. 
• Coordinate onboarding schedules, ensuring new hires are prepared with tools, resources, and training. 
• Act as the primary point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and fostering engagement during onboarding. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process, including IT setup, HR documentation, and team introductions. 
• Gather feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience. 
• Maintain and update employee records in compliance with HR policies and legal requirements. 
• Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives through recruitment and onboarding practices. 
• Assist with additional HR projects, programs, and events as needed. 

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration or a related field is preferred. 
• 2+ years of experience in recruitment, onboarding, or a related HR role. 
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms is a plus. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. 
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. 
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with recruitment tools and software. 
• Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment and onboarding.
