What You’ll Do Design fun, impactful programs for adults — workshops, discussions, and more. Provide top-notch reference and readers’ advisory services. Introduce patrons to our Library of Things, Museum Passes, and digital resources . Help curate and grow a vibrant adult collection across all formats. Collaborate with a team that values innovation, creativity, inclusion, and community impact. Who You Are A passionate librarian who loves helping people explore and learn . Tech-savvy and comfortable with library systems (Evergreen experience a plus!). Creative, collaborative, and adaptable — ready to bring new ideas to life . Culturally competent with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. What You Need MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited or NYS-recognized program. Eligibility for a NYS Public Librarian Certificate (must have certificate at appointment). To be on the Westchester County Department of Human Services (Civil Service) list for Librarian I.
