This is an opportunity to influence a large product portfolio and make an immediate impact on customer's lives while working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment!Key job responsibilities• Lead a team of Retail Vendor Managers across multiple product categories, owning the overall business strategy and setting strategic goals• Work alongside partner teams across the organization to ensure we deliver against key profitability and growth targets• Establish strong partnerships with cross-functional teams at Amazon, ensuring we build the tools to seamlessly scale operations as the business growsA day in the life-Be the ‘business owner’ for your category, working autonomously and possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact your category-Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external partners, while meeting tight deadlines-Create compelling customer experience that raises the bar and drives customer engagement-Analyze weekly and monthly performance metrics and manage communication with stakeholders to hit key inputs and ouputs-Provide business inputs regarding promotional activity, space allocation, pricing, productivity analysis, and forecastingBasic qualifications- 5+ years of team management experience- 7+ years of operational and/or retail management experience- Bachelor's degree- Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion or inventory managementPreferred qualification - Experience leading and transforming highly effective organizations- Experience with P&L responsibility and delivering strong financial results- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiencesAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
