Shift Lead

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida Job Summary Join the Pet Supermarket team as a Shift Lead, leading customer service and sales. You’ll serve as a frontline leader, manage day‑to‑day operations, and represent the store’s brand while caring for pets. Responsibilities Sales Leadership: Assist customers, drive sales, set KPI goals, and ensure team performance. Customer Excellence: Collaborate with the Store Manager on community events, maintain a safe and clean environment, and care for animals. Operations & Team Building: Oversee store standards, safety, restocking, inventory accuracy, and new‑hire training. Business Insight: Monitor daily business metrics and respond to sales needs. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of retail or customer‑service experience. Experience working with animals. Flexible schedule – mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver's license; personal vehicle preferred. Physical Requirements Heavy lifting up to 55 lbs repeatedly during a shift. Standing, walking, and moving around most of the time. Potential slips, trips, or strains from lifting; occasional work alone.
