Client Services Supervisor - Majors

Team Lead (Client Services Supervisor) This role leads a team of 6–10 Account Managers, driving client satisfaction through performance monitoring, coaching, process improvement, and client engagement. Primary Responsibilities Monitor team performance using metrics, analyze trends, and report findings, advocating for necessary reporting tools. Develop and execute operational initiatives to increase efficiency, including workload coordination and cross‑team communication. Coach, train, and mentor Account Managers, facilitating knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Serve as first‑level escalation, engaging clients and resolving issues to maintain excellent service levels. Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging data and industry best practices. Client Service Expectations Dependability and proactive follow‑up. Problem solving using knowledge, resources, and data. Professional internal and external communication. Provide guidance on HR, payroll best practices, organizational change, and Paylocity product fit. Implement and optimize ancillary products and core HCM setup. Influence decision makers, negotiate contracts, and provide industry insight. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required. At least 2 years of payroll, finance, or spend management experience with client services or support. Experience in escalations and at‑risk client retention. Project management experience. Proficiency in SQL, MS Access or Excel. Operations experience. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of supervisory experience. HRIS experience. Experience leading training initiatives. Experience using reporting and metrics as a key part of the job. Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll, benefits, HR administration, and/or finance/spend management. Ability to present HR data effectively. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods (7–8 hours per day) at a desk or workstation. Use of computer, phone systems, and type. Ability to operate multiple software programs simultaneously. Salary and Benefits Pay range: $82,000–$85,000. Position eligible for annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant.
