Production Assembler

Production Assembler (1st and 2nd Shift)This role focuses on the complete assembly of products from start to finish in a manufacturing environment in Brunswick, Maine. You will assemble components using basic hand tools and measuring equipment, inspect and document your work, and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture. Positions are available on 1st shift and 2nd shift, with structured training provided.ResponsibilitiesPerform start-to-finish assembly of products according to work instructions and quality standards.Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment to complete assemblies accurately and efficiently.Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.Document completed work, including inspection results and any required production records.Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment at all times.Maintain a clean and organized work area within the assembly department and warehouse.Collaborate with team members and support a positive, team-first work environment.Lift, move, and handle materials and products weighing up to 50 pounds as needed during the shift.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and mechanical components.Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring equipment safely and effectively.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Team-first mentality with a positive attitude and willingness to help others.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required documentation.Additional Skills & QualificationsInterest in long-term growth and cross-training within a manufacturing environment.Comfort working in a large open warehouse and assembly area.Willingness to work a training schedule and then transition to a regular shift.Openness to ongoing feedback and performance reviews to support development.Why Work Here?You will join a growing organization with ambitious plans for continued expansion, offering strong long-term opportunities and a supportive culture. For 2nd shift roles, you will train on a 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. schedule for approximately 4–8 weeks before transitioning to a full-time 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. shift. First shift roles operate from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The facility is not temperature-controlled, but large garage bays and high-capacity fans help improve airflow and keep the space cooler in warmer months. Wired headphones are allowed during the shift, providing flexibility in how you manage your workday. Steel or composite toe shoes are required for safety, and safety glasses are provided.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Brunswick, ME.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
