Contract Manager

Summary Baptist Health is seeking a Contract Manager for its Supply Chain team in Louisville, KY. The role leads system-wide contracting of supplies, equipment, material, services, and maintenance to drive savings and cost avoidance, with a focus on customer service, process improvement, benchmarking, performance measurement, and reporting. Responsibilities Assist in identifying and reviewing new and alternative product selections. Sourcing products within the vendor community and monitoring vendor performance. Build business relationships and negotiate contracts including GPO, IDN, and hospital-specific contracts. Collaborate with leadership and system departments for portfolio management. Support continuous process improvement and performance measurement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced certification in supply chain or healthcare administration preferred. 3+ years’ experience in contracting, supply chain, or healthcare administration. Market knowledge of key medical/surgical supplies and services preferred. Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, negotiating, contracting, business law, cost containment, and expense management.
