Senior HVAC Technician

*HVAC Technician*

We are looking for a skilled HVAC technician to join our growing team. Bob’s Plumbing & Heating of Central WI Inc is a family owned and operated business that strives to provide the best service possible to our growing client list.

*Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the functions listed below.*

The HVAC technician will be responsible for the install and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems. They must be familiar with the standard concepts, practices and procedures of ductwork fabrication and installation, the tools and tests used for diagnostics and repair of HVAC systems and the various heating and cooling system options on the market. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with hydronic systems.

Other responsibilities include:

1. Review schedule, service calls and complete paperwork daily.

2. Keep your truck clean and inventory up to date. Let the office team know if parts need to be ordered.

3. Assist with stocking, pulling jobs, deliveries, fabrication, or other tasks needed around the shop.

4. Maintain a clean driving record.

5. Lead and train apprentices and laborers.

*Qualifications*

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*

* High School diploma or GED
* Refrigeration technicians must be EPA certified
* Must have a valid driver’s license from the state in which applicant is applying and must be insurable by our auto insurance company
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
* Recommended - two (2) years of experience
* Must be highly safety conscious
* Must be able to climb stairs and ladders
* Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds)
* Requires walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead
* Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
