Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a desire to excel? If so, then Talent Software Services may have the job for you! Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to work at their company in Maple Grove, MN. Position Summary: Responsible for working with electrical ME equipment, capital equipment, electrical circuit boards, and sustaining/testing while working on various products within Interventional Oncology. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Design, develop, debug, modify, and test electrical circuits and systems using current tools, analysis techniques, and technologies. Solve engineering problems by analyzing the situation and recommending corrective or alternative actions. Investigate, research, and select electronic circuits, components, tools, and equipment using best practices. Document electrical development by writing procedures, reports, memos, and change requests. Track electrical development efforts by creating and maintaining records in Jira and other approved tracking management tools. Provide clear communication to stakeholders at key technical updates to facilitate crisp decision-making. Develop improvements to products or processes resulting in expansion of the Intellectual Property portfolio in key strategic areas. Work cooperatively with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing on complex projects to ensure project success. Train and/or provide work direction to technicians. Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with all documented quality processes and procedures. Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience Experience utilizing EMI/EMC best practices for board-level circuit design using Altium and/or similar packages Solid lab experience with debugging, fixtures, and test equipment Expertise in circuit design analysis techniques and simulation tools such as LTSpice Preferred: Ability to solve complex problems with root cause analysis, including designing and executing experimental plans and using statistical methodologies to drive data-based decisions Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations based on technical inputs from multiple and varied sources Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently to plan, schedule, and execute activities necessary to meet project timelines Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Part-time Job function Job function Information Technology and Engineering Industries Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at TALENT Software Services by 2x Get notified about new Electrical Engineer jobs in Maple Grove, MN .
