Dishwasher / Prep Cook We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher / Prep Cook to join our culinary team in Midlothian, VA. This position is an important part of our kitchen operation. The Dishwasher / Prep Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized dish area and kitchen while supporting the culinary team with basic food preparation and daily kitchen tasks. Key Responsibilities Operate the dish machine and wash plates, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Maintain a clean and organized dish area throughout service Inspect dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans for cleanliness Sweep and mop kitchen floors and keep work areas clean, dry, and free of debris Remove trash, recycling, and cardboard throughout the shift Clean and sanitize trash cans, work areas, and kitchen equipment Receive, organize, and properly store deliveries Maintain clean and organized coolers, freezers, and dry-storage areas Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation as needed Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures Assist with additional kitchen duties as needed What We're Looking For Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong work ethic and willingness to help the team Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean work area Ability to safely operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment Ability to follow instructions and established sanitation procedures Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is preferred but not required We are willing to train someone who is reliable, works hard, and wants to be part of a professional culinary team.
