Security Licensed "Flex" Officers - New Albany

Licensed Flex Security Officers Data Center, New Albany – Approx 12 miles north of Columbus. Current Opening: Flex officers’ hours vary based on each officer's availability to cover opening shifts. Responsibilities Flex officers must be available to fill in for vacation requests, open posts, extra coverage, or call‑outs. If a utility officer cannot fulfill this commitment, this will limit their ability to remain a flex officer. If a flex officer has less than 40 hours for the week and is called within four hours to start shift, the flex officer will be required to fill the shift. An officer that cannot fill a shift within the four hour time frame or cannot fill a complete shift after being offered a shift three times may be subject to discipline up to and including removal from the flex officer program. During major holidays, flex officers may be required to fill vacation requests from senior security officers. Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from the premises when deemed necessary. Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms. Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks. Other duties will be determined by operations. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent. OH Security License. Valid OH Driver’s License. Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug). Position requires occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time.
