eCommerce Fulfillment Associate — Part-Time
Location: Nashville, TN - White Bridge Rd. 37205
Status: Hourly / Part-Time, Seasonal
Bat Flip Industries LLC is a Nashville based company specializing in owning and operating ecommerce brands. Our primary brand, FlowX Jewelry, specializes in jewelry designed for athletes and sports. We are hiring seasonal employees to keep orders moving accurately and on time through our busy season.
Position Summary
The eCommerce Fulfillment Associate is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of online orders. This includes picking, packing, engraving, shipping, counting inventory, and customer service support. This role requires strong attention to detail comfort with basic computer systems, and a commitment to getting every order right.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment
- Pick and pack orders accurately, matching each item to the correct order and customization
- Inspect every order before it ships. Verify names, numbers, and spelling on personalized pieces and check for defects
- Pack orders securely and professionally
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation; transport packed orders to UPS and/or USPS
- Meet daily ship-cutoff times so orders go out on schedule
- Identify and resolve delays, exceptions, and incomplete orders
Product Customization
- Operate laser engraving machines for product customization (training provided)
- Maintain engraving quality standards and keep the engraving station clean and stocked
Inventory
- Count, label, and organize inventory; assist with cycle counts and reconciliation
- Monitor product and supply availability; flag discrepancies and low-stock conditions
- Ensure merchandise is handled, labeled, and stored properly to minimize damage and errors
Customer Experience
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries via email regarding orders, shipping, returns, and availability
- Process returns and exchanges
- Handle shipping exceptions (lost, delayed, or returned packages) and coordinate reshipments
- Escalate complex issues or policy exceptions as appropriate
Operational Support
- Keep the fulfillment and engraving areas clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with inbound receiving and other tasks during periods of high demand
