Schedule - Shift - Hours: Full Time - Day Shift - varies Summary Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, FL is expanding and hiring an Internist (
MD/DO
) in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. We are seeking an Internist Medicine or Family Medicine–trained physician to join our Pre‑Anesthesia Testing (PAT) department. This role focuses on evaluating and optimizing patients prior to surgery to ensure safe anesthesia care and reduce day‑of‑surgery delays or cancellations. The physician will collaborate closely with anesthesia, surgical teams, and nursing staff to assess medical readiness and provide perioperative management to our surgical patients.
