Commercial Loan Servicing SpecialistPerforms a wide variety of tasks related to loan servicing as related to commercial loans according to established policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines thus assuring overall quality and integrity of the Bank's commercial loan portfolios. Assists the junior staff with questions related to department processes and functions that are more complex in nature.Key Accountabilities:Onboards new loans to the bank's core system reviewing Credit Approval Memo, loan documents and Boarding Data sheet to ensure accuracy. Processes modifications to loans in core ensuring data is accurate for loan functions and reporting requirements.Ensures accurate processing of payments, loan advances and transaction reversals necessary to maintain accuracy in the loan core system.Processes all non-accrual and charge-off entries for the Commercial Loan Department as well as all OREO transfers.Manages and processes the bank's rate indices in IBS Bank Control that are priced daily. Ensures they are processed and updated accurately and timely.Reconciles general ledger balances to ensure system accuracy.Monitors the Salesforce Queues for requests and processes accordingly.Completes Audit Confirmations timely and accurately.Monitors and manages Loan Servicing ticklers as needed.Handles all aspects of SWAP loans related to the payment process.Monitors and service specialty loans such as pooled loans and USDA loans.Processes requests from the Workout Department related to SBA repurchases.Assists in the testing of new system releases and in new products to ensure continuity. Participates in system-to-system mapping for acquisitions and core system conversions. Troubleshoots and serves as an information resource regarding loan system input.Maintains job function procedures.Demonstrates excellent customer service skills at all times to promote a positive image for the bank. Handles customer issues while executing excellent customer service principles. Identifies appropriate area to refer more complex issues and/or problems.Troubleshoots routine commercial system problems; provides problem resolution and serves as an information resource regarding system input.Performs additional duties, departmental cross-training and participates in special projects as required.Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.Education:High school diplomaSome college or additional education, associate's degree preferredExperience:5 years' related work experienceKnowledge of commercial loan documentation and collateralCommercial loan systems experience preferredSkills & Knowledge:Problem resolution capabilityStrong analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret loan documentsProficient in navigation in loan origination related systemsExcellent verbal/written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and other report writing softwareExcellent organizational skills with the ability to multitaskDetail oriented; high degree of accuracyBasic accounting knowledge
