Junior Mortgage Loan Officer

Metroplex Mortgage Services is hiring a Mortgage Loan Officer for our Tampa office at 8622 N Himes Ave. Full-time, in-office, Monday through Friday. This is a high-growth position with significant advancement potential! We are looking for a candidate with experience in the mortgage industry: origination, processing, or underwriting, or who has completed the NMLS 20-hour pre-licensing course. Responsibilities: Take loan applications and structure files across conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA products Pre-qualify borrowers and review credit, income, and assets Build and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, and past clients Work files with in-house processing and underwriting through closing Maintain accurate and compliant loan documentation Qualifications: Mortgage industry experience, or completion of the NMLS 20-hour pre-licensing course Active Florida NMLS mortgage loan originator license, or eligibility to obtain one within 60 days Comfortable learning a loan origination system and CRM Able to work on-site in Tampa five days per week Compensation: $40,000 - $50,000 at plan compensation
