HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team located along the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida. There is a new Allopathic Emergency Medicine Residency Program starting in 2025!! ED Profile:

Level II Trauma Center

61,000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in Peds ED

42-bed ED including 5 fast track plus 5 monitored beds

3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric

2.0 pph

70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED incl)

60 hours of APP coverage

26% Admit rate

EMR is Meditech, Pdoc and dragon dictation

Comprehensive Stroke facility with bi-plane

Interventional cardiac cath facility

Code ice facility with therapeutic hypothermia capability

Several dedicated ED glide scopes and US machines

24 hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists

No floor code or consult responsibilities

IC-1099 contractor status (malpractice with tail covered)

Highest paid rates in South FL

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (AOBEM). Must also have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Must have completed an EM Residency and Board Certified within 5 years.
