Kidcam Camp Summer Camp Buddy (Volunteer)
As a Kidcam Camp Summer Camp Buddy (Volunteer) you will gain experience in the field of camp counseling and working with children by learning camper-management, operational and leadership skills and putting them into practice.
Duration: A Camp Benny Buddy program can be one - six weeks of Service / Experience Hours.
We are seeking enthusiastic, organized, and compassionate students & young professionals to volunteer from one to six weeks for a summer day camp program for children with autism at, Camp Benny. As a Camp Benny Summer Camp Buddy, you will be responsible for engaging with campers & assisting counselor, ensuring their safety, facilitating activities, and promoting a positive and inclusive camp atmosphere designed to support social, emotional, and sensory development while ensuring a fun and memorable summer experience for children with diverse needs.
Camp Benny is based at Rudolph Matas Elementary School, 1201 Elise Ave., Metairie, LA, 70003
