Warehouse Technician

divh2Job Title/h2pResponsibilities:/ppArrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers./ppAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department./ppCompiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications./ppCompletes requisition forms to order supplies for other plant departments./ppConveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas./ppDrives support vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment./ppFills requisitions, work/job orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line./ppMaintains inventory records, physical inventories, cycle counts./ppMarks materials with identifying information./ppOpens bales, crates, and other containers./ppReads production schedule, customer order, sales order, shipping order, job order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed./ppRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributed./ppSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code./ppUses computer to enter records./ppWeighs or counts items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company and ISO standards./ppOperates forklift, overhead crane, pallet jacks, and wheel dolly./ppEducation/Experience:/pulliTwo years of experience in a manufacturing environment/liliGeneral knowledge of Warehousing/liliComputer and Data Entry experience required/liliAble to lift up to 70 lbs required/liliMust have a current drivers license/liliAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail is critical/liliMRP/ERP experience to include basic knowledge of shipping software/liliThe fast pace and attention to detail is a must./li/ulpBenefits:/pulliHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental and Vision)/lili401k with company match/liliLife Insurance (Basic, Voluntary and ADD)/liliPaid Time Off/liliShort Term and Long Term Disability/liliTraining and Development/li/ul/div
