About the Role Galileo is looking for a culturally sensitive and thoughtful therapist to join us part‑time as part of our digital‑first, primary‑care medical group. You will leverage data, technology, and operational rigor in this role to deliver therapy to a diverse patient population. Here’s what you’ll do Provide integrated behavioral health care among a team of primary and specialty care providers with attention to clinical quality and patient‑centricity Maintain a caseload of patients in which you’ll conduct 30 to 45 minute therapy sessions for Galileo patients residing in a state of licensure with set blocks of time to support Galileo patients each week Work with a diverse patient population. Qualifications 5+ years experience with providing teletherapy (text‑based, video, phone) and integrating technology and data into practice/care provision Trained with evidence‑based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness‑based cognitive therapy (MBCT) Comfortable with providing safety planning and intervention during situations where a client might present with higher risks Licensed and credentialed to support patients with clinical concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma Active license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and/or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and/or equivalent. Active license in MD required. Additional licenses in TX, OR, TN, MA and/or CA is a plus. It’s a bonus if you are professionally fluent in Spanish including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the cultural nuances for native Spanish speakers in a medical setting Compensation Hourly rate equivalent to up to $110,000 annually for MD based therapists, with compensation prorated to your part‑time schedule. Dependent on licensure, we may be able to offer up a schedule of up to 24 hours/week.
