Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in Automotive, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Fremont, California

Pay Range: $38-42/hr.

What's the Job?

• Respond to alarms, breakdowns, and production requests promptly to minimize downtime

• Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and communicate corrective actions

• Perform major repairs and rebuilds of manufacturing equipment, including some weekends and holidays

• Utilize manufacturing systems such as MES, spares inventory, and issue tracking tools effectively

• Collaborate with process and equipment engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and safety protocols

What's Needed?

• At least 3+ years of experience maintaining industrial equipment and automation systems

• Strong Siemens PLC experience highly desired

• Experience with Fanuc robots is a plus

• Familiarity with any of the following: electrical/electronics, mechanical/machining, or automation/PLC/robotics systems

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
