Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for being a part of the beautifulupkeep, maintenance, and repair of apartment units and common areas within our residential buildings. This position involves a broad range of tasks, includingplumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and appliance repair. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to our residents. Key Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the apartment community, including plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry work Conduct routine property inspections and perform preventative maintenance to ensure all systems and common areas remain in excellent condition Troubleshoot, service, and perform HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance Utilize EPA-certified refrigerant handling practices and ensure all HVAC work is completed in compliance with EPA regulations Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner, delivering excellent customer service Participate in emergency maintenance and on-call rotations , as needed, to support after-hours service requests Maintain accurate work order updates and service documentation Qualifications & Requirements: High school diploma or GED (required) EPA Certified 1-3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field (preferred). Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or additional hours as needed to meet deadlines. Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and working in confined spaces. Ability to move furniture, appliances, and equipment as needed. Ability to work in various weather conditions as required by the job. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
