This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager based in Australia.

As Senior Marketing Manager, you'll lead marketing strategy and performance across a designated portfolio of university partners in a remote-first environment. You'll guide an agile marketing squad, combining customer insight, commercial thinking, data, and creativity to drive measurable growth. The role offers significant ownership across go-to-market strategy, campaign performance, customer experience, and marketing investment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to align priorities and deliver shared business outcomes. As a senior leader, you'll coach and develop marketing talent while creating a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement. Your work will directly influence how customers discover, engage with, and access education.

Accountabilities

• Lead the development and optimisation of integrated go-to-market strategies, using customer, competitor, market, and performance insights to shape propositions, campaigns, and priorities.
• Own marketing performance across the portfolio, using data and commercial insights to identify growth opportunities, improve funnel performance, and maximise return on investment.
• Build strong relationships with university partners and internal stakeholders, influencing strategic decisions and creating alignment around shared objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team while setting clear strategic direction, priorities, and ways of working for the marketing squad.
• Oversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring marketing initiatives are delivered effectively, measured consistently, and continuously optimised.
• Champion the customer experience by staying close to the customer journey and translating insights into more meaningful and effective marketing connections.
• Foster a test-and-learn culture by identifying opportunities to innovate, experiment, scale successful initiatives, and continuously improve performance.
• Manage marketing budgets and investment decisions, making informed commercial trade-offs across the portfolio.
• Apply strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, website optimisation, conversion rate optimisation, and emerging discovery channels.

Requirements

• Bring 7+ years of marketing experience across integrated marketing, digital performance marketing, 1:1 marketing, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrate proven experience leading, coaching, and motivating high-performing marketing teams.
• Have strong strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to translate broader business objectives into clear, actionable marketing strategies and plans.
• Possess strong stakeholder and relationship management skills, including the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Have experience managing marketing budgets and making data-driven, ROI-focused investment decisions.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Have working knowledge of paid search, SEO, website optimisation, and conversion rate optimisation.
• Bring a growth mindset with genuine enthusiasm for innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
• Have experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), and data visualisation platforms.
