A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated physical therapist eager to support students in a center-based program for individuals with moderate to severe disabilities. This full-time role, scheduled for 35 hours weekly from now through June 10, 2027, will serve a diverse population ranging from kindergarten to age 26. As part of a highly specialized environment, you'll make a profound impact facilitating mobility, access, and functional independence for learners with intensive needs.

Candidates must demonstrate experience in school-based physical therapy and hold a current, valid Michigan PT license. Proof of licensure is required—please be prepared to provide a screenshot upon application. This position is onsite only and does not accept PTAs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan physical therapy license (PT); be ready to submit documentation
• Previous work in a school setting required, preferably with students experiencing moderate to severe disabilities
• Full-time commitment (35 hours per week) through June 10, 2027
• Ability to work independently in a center-based special education environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students ages K-26 in a specialized educational setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and adaptations
• Complete thorough documentation and contribute to IEP processes
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and allied professionals
• Conduct ongoing assessments for progress and potential modifications
• Engage actively in professional development and training as necessary
