Job Title: Biospecimen Coordinator
Location: Tucson, AZ – Fully Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $30/hr on W-2
Contract: 6 months, possible extension
Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Biospecimen Coordinator to support sample intake, accessioning, tracking, QC, and shipment activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate chain of custody, documentation, and timely sample processing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, triage, accession, label, and track biospecimens.
- Perform sample QC and maintain accurate chain of custody.
- Coordinate sample shipments and client requests.
- Support pathology slide imaging and documentation.
- Manage tracking systems/inbox and ensure timely completion of requests.
- Identify issues and support process improvement initiatives.
- Requirements: High School Diploma/GED and 1–5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred: Bio sample management/accessioning experience, LIMS or sample tracking systems, and MS Office/Google Suite proficiency.
