Sheet Metal Installer Active - Full-time Regular full-time Edgewood, MD, US Sobieski New Homes of Edgewood, MD is looking to hire a full-time Residential New Construction Sheet Metal Installer. The successful Sheet Metal Installer is responsible for installing HVAC duct systems and related components in residential new construction homes. This position works closely with foremen, superintendents, and construction teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience installing residential duct systems, reading plans, and working in various stages of single-family homes, townhomes, and other residential new construction projects. This person would also help train Sheet Metal helpers and apprentices. This Residential New Construction Sheet Metal Installer position earns a competitive wage, depending on experience. Licensed as a journeyman (preferred) OR 3+ years of new home construction experience Knowledge of applicable state codes Hands‑on knowledge of residential HVAC construction Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outside in a variety of weather conditions, from heights, and in tight spaces Have own hand tools regularly used by Sheet Metal Installers Do you have good communication skills?
