Job Title: Electrical Engineer V (RF Hardware)

Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months Contract

We are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Engineer (RF Hardware) to join a cutting-edge engineering team focused on developing advanced wireless systems and devices. This role will involve end-to-end RF design, simulation, validation, and collaboration across hardware, antenna, and system teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in RF hardware design, preferably in consumer electronics or wireless systems
• Strong experience with: RF front-end design and SoC integration, Schematic capture and PCB layout and Board bring-up and debugging
• Practical experience with RF lab equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators)
• Proficiency in RF circuit simulation and EM simulation tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD in RF, Electromagnetics, or related discipline
• 5+ years of industry experience in RF design
• Experience with WiFi, Bluetooth, or Cellular RF module design and validation
• Hands-on experience with Cadence or Altium for schematic and layout design.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RF schematics and PCB layouts for advanced hardware systems
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and production readiness
• Perform RF link budget analysis and troubleshoot RF issues in lab environments
• Conduct RF circuit simulations and 3D EM simulations to evaluate and optimize performance
• Lead performance tuning, validation, and RF characterization at component, board, and system levels
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (antenna, test, system engineering) to ensure overall system performance
• Support board bring-up, debugging, and validation activities
