This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, dependable, and ready to make an immediate impact.Key Accountabilities:Work Order PickingReceivingInventory ControlShippingMaterial AllocationFIFOMaintain an accurate Inventory RecordMaintain a safe and clean work environmentProcess material returnsPerform regular fork-truck inspectionsKey Responsibilities:Efficiently pick work orders for manufacturingCalculate concentrate let down ratios, and mix with raw materialMark material with identifying bar codes/item code/description/lot #/weightOperates scanners so that the proper order is picked and inventory is managed accuratelyStages raw materials correctly for deliver to manufacturingReturn unused material from production floor to the warehouse for put away. from production floorMaintain communication with manufacturing associates and production planner regarding order pull times and potential problems that may ariseEnsure all paperwork is correctOperate forklifts for delivering items to manufacturing, as well as loading, and unloading trucksReceive raw material, matching Purchase Order to material and Packing ListPlace raw material in storage locations and track in the computerPerform daily cycle countsHelp pull and pack all orders on designated "Must Ship" dayStore INMI (Inserts Molded In) inserts and issue as neededAllocate raw material to Material Requisitions and ESWO's (Equipment Work Orders)Move assigned material to Raw Staging locationEnsure warehouse and material is clean and safely storedEnsuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organizedMaintain SOP procedures while looking for areas for improvementsProvide a safe working environmentPresents Bendi Forklift training as needed.Performs other general warehouse duties as neededQualities for Success:Demonstrates Seaway Plastics Core ValuesWe are customer focusedWe executeWe are respectfulWe win togetherSelf-motivated with a drive to safely meet daily goalsDemonstrate a positive attitude to work well with othersAbility to work well under pressureUnderstand and follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) related to functionKnowledge of company methods and policies to enable making decisions without supervisionKnowledge of company computer programs with basic Excel and WordBe able to multi task and prioritize daily workloadsAttention to detailPrior experience working in a warehouseKnowledge of operating a forkliftRF ScanningGood Communication SkillsPhysical Requirements include: typing, standing, sitting and walking through the day, repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves, regular lifting of up to 30 pounds and occasional lifting of 40-50 pounds, occasional climbing of ladders, usage of fork lifts and pallet jacks. Must be able to work in heat.
