Job Description

We are seeking an HR Operations Specialist II to provide temporary HR support during a maternity leave. This individual will work closely with the HR team and serve as a key resource for day-to-day HR operations, with a primary focus on benefits administration and leaves of absence.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of HR operations experience, strong attention to detail, and experience working within an HRIS environment. Workday experience is highly preferred.

This is a full-time, onsite temporary position that can start as soon as possible and is expected to continue through approximately the end of February.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day administration of employee benefits and leave of absence programs.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee and manager questions related to HR programs, benefits, leaves, and HR processes.
• Respond to employee and manager requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
• Maintain accurate employee information, documentation, and transactions within the HRIS.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities in coordination with the broader HR team.
• Run routine HR reports and assist with data audits across internal HR and vendor systems.
• Support benefits, leave, and headcount reporting.
• Maintain and update standard HR communications, templates, and employee resources.
• Assist with required HR compliance documentation and reporting, including EEO-1 and OSHA-related information.
• Support immigration paperwork and documentation as needed under the guidance of senior HR team members.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, HRIS, and other internal teams to resolve employee issues and ensure accurate HR processes.
• Participate in HR team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR support, HR operations, benefits, or related role.
• Working knowledge of employee benefits and leave administration.
• Experience maintaining employee information and completing transactions within an HRIS.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow issues through to resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workday experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with ADP or other HRIS/payroll platforms.
• Previous hands-on experience supporting benefits and leaves of absence.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based HR programs.
• Exposure to Canadian and/or Mexican HR programs is a plus. xhyhwjd
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or interest in pursuing a professional HR certification is a plus.
