In this contract position, you’ll play a vital part in providing ongoing therapy support across multiple school sites. By managing overflow caseloads, you’ll help ensure that every student receives timely, high-quality occupational therapy services, empowering them to succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a COTA with state licensure
• Strong preference for previous experience in a school-based setting
• Passion for working with children and supporting their educational goals
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to multiple school environments and work effectively with diverse teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans under the direction of district Occupational Therapists
• Deliver therapy sessions to students at assigned schools
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff for coordinated care
• Assist with evaluations and maintain accurate documentation
• Provide creative, individualized interventions that foster students’ independence
• Support the department in managing overflow and prioritizing caseload needs
