Banquet Captain

Job Description Solette is hiring for a Banquet Captain to join our events team. What You Will Do Coordinate details of the contract with the Chef de Party and Events Manager. Confirm staff assignments with MOD prior to service staff arrival. Confirm pull sheet with Culinary and MOD. Supervise the placement of tables, chairs, table settings, and serving stations to ensure proper setup. Consult with the Chef to discuss timing of meal courses. Greet Client Point of Contact upon arrival and review BEO details to confirm understanding and expectations. Serve as a secondary client contact; coordinate between MOD and Client as needed. Oversee guest seating, service of meals and beverages, and quick clearing of tables. Manage liquor and non-alcoholic beverage availability. Answer customer questions and accommodate special requests as needed. What You Bring Minimum 3 years of experience servicing events in a fast-paced restaurant or events space (preferred). High School Diploma or GED.
