Threadroll Machine Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Hacienda Heights, CA

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift (1:30 PM – 10:00 PM)

Training will be conducted on 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Threadroll Machine Operator to set up and operate various thread rolling machines for the production of precision, aircraft-quality fasteners. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Set up and operate thread roll machines to manufacture precision fasteners
Use and set various measuring instruments, including:
- Micrometers
- Calipers
- Plug and ring gages
- Comparator and microscope
Read and interpret part drawings, work instructions, and process control procedures
Understand thread rolling terminology and part features
Perform first piece verification and in-process (loaf pan) inspections per specifications
Identify improper machine functioning and report safety concerns promptly
Complete daily 5S activities and maintain a clean, organized work area
Perform preventative maintenance at the start of each shift
Accurately complete transactions in Shop-Trak system
Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
Pass production stamp test

Experience operating thread rolling or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately
Basic shop math skills required
Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Good communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
