National Sales Manager

Overview The Big Sky Resort Sales Division isseekingan exceptional and dynamic National Sales Manager to joinourfast-paced and energetic team. The team member in the positionis responsible forestablishingand meeting annual revenue goalsthroughgroup relatedsales. The highly motivated individual willbe responsible foridentifyingpotential clientsthrough a variety of lead-generating channels. Additionally, the individualis responsible forsuccessfullynegotiating and closing business, which directly influences the revenue success of Big Sky Resort. Responsibilities Revenue Generation Execute all functions related to the Sales Cycle at Big Sky Resort, including generating, qualifying and nurturing leads, contract negotiations and closing Group Sales related business. Effectively prepare and present proposals that accurately represent lodging, meeting space and seasonal recreational offerings that meet the needs of prospective clients and are aligned with the resort’s strategy. Build and maintain strong relationships with individual clients, accounts and partners to drive long-term business success. Conduct curated site visit experiences. Ensure all sales strategies, processes, and handoffs deliver an exceptional guest experience, while enabling the conference services teams to do the same. Hold a deep understanding of owned market segment dynamics - including trends and competitors Demonstrate the ability to clearly articulate and influence strategic direction of owned market segments, carry initiatives from strategy through execution, and desire for continuous optimization. Ensure accurate sales data, strong system and process adoption, strengthen client relationships and effectively execute the sales cycle. Demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated and team/goal oriented. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years of hospitality sales related experience. Wellorganized with an aptitude in problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be available for periodic travel. Familiarity with Springer Miller Host PMS platform.
