Diverse Staffing is currently hiring a Printing Press Assistant in Louisville, KY. This position offers the opportunity to work in a professional printing production environment with the potential to be hired full-time and become eligible for company benefits.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, manufacturing experience, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced production setting.

What You'll Do

• Assist press operators with press setup and changeovers
• Load materials, plates, paper, and ink needed for production runs
• Monitor ink levels and keep press equipment supplied during operation
• Prepare materials for upcoming jobs to minimize downtime between runs
• Clean press equipment, rollers, fountains, and work areas as required
• Support quality standards and assist other production departments as needed

Work Environment

• Industrial printing production facility
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Exposure to production machinery, ink, and cleaning chemicals
• Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
• Working around moving mechanical equipment
• Production deadlines and quality standards must be maintained

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand and move throughout a 10-hour shift
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 80 pounds
• Work in tight or confined areas around production equipment
• Perform repetitive movements using hands and arms
• Ability to climb, bend, reach, and stretch as needed

Must-Have Qualifications

• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
• Ability to safely follow all workplace safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
• Willingness to work overtime when production requires it
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Printing press experience
• Manufacturing experience
• Production equipment experience
• Machine operator experience
