Disassembly & Reassembly Technician

The Disassembly& ReassemblyTechnicianis responsible fordisassembling, inspecting, and assessing vehicles foradditionalor hidden damage.Once the vehicle is ready, the technicianwill reassemble the vehicle. Job Requirements Followthecompany blueprinting process and disassembly procedures (DFR) for all vehicleinspections Disassemble vehicles after theinitialestimate, inspect all vehicles for internal structure and parts from theinitialinspection (estimate),andidentifyadditionaldamage Complete disassembly ofthevehicle toassistestimators in assessing damage to prepare a 100% repairplan Document and recordadditionaldamage andrequiredparts on a damage report (including blend panels, small parts, on-time use fasteners,moldings, etc.). Notify the productionmanager/estimatorregardingsupplements based onadditionaldamage/partsdiscovered Assistthe metal technician with reassembly upon completion of the repair, asneeded Reassemble vehicle – replace final moldings, trim,and detailpieces Perform assigned dutiessafely and responsiblythat does not expose yourself or other employees to unnecessary risk ofinjury Other duties asassigned Skills & Qualifications At leastoneyear of auto body repair experience Must be at least 18 years ofage HS Diploma or GED, Auto Body Vo-Tech certification stronglypreferred Ability to effectively communicate withothers Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and workorders Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-pacedenvironments Physical Requirements Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, and pull Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs) Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr VIVE Collision
