Come work with a team of professionals dedicated to design excellence at the Coffman Engineers' office in Anchorage, Alaska.We are seeking a Cathodic Protection Technician who would like to work and grow as a team player within our multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will have a strong work ethic as well as experience collaborating in a team environment.Responsibilities May Include:Performing Cathodic Protection Surveys for various structures (pipelines, docks, etc.)Supporting indirect inspections on pipelines and facility piping including CIS, DCVG, and ACVG.Assisting with CP component repairs including test stations, rectifiers, and RMUs.Providing CP system installation support.Locating pipelines and performing depth of cover surveysPerforming Atmospheric Corrosion InspectionsQualifications:2 years minimum of field survey experience is requiredNACE CP2 Technician certification or greater preferredCollege degree preferredOil & gas and/or water/wastewater experience is preferredAbility to travel, perform field work, and work overtimeValid driver's license and driving record that meets Coffman's stringent requirementsTransportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) or eligibility to obtain a TWICExceptional organization, writing and communication skillsThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.Coffman Engineers is a company that truly focuses on its employees.
