Opportunity Overview As an Inventory Analyst Intern, you will work alongside the Global Operations team supporting inventory planning, analytics, and optimization initiatives. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to supply chain management, inventory analysis, forecasting, and cross‑functional collaboration in a global manufacturing environment. You will help analyze inventory trends, support process improvements, and contribute to projects that drive operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include: Support inventory modeling and forecasting activities by analyzing current business conditions, product lifecycles, and inventory requirements. Assist with identifying and reconciling gaps between inventory models and actual inventory levels. Help develop reports and presentations highlighting inventory trends, risks, and opportunities. Support inventory reduction initiatives through data analysis and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Assist in developing inventory optimization models to determine appropriate inventory levels based on business requirements. Participate in the Excess & Obsolete inventory review process by analyzing inventory balances, supply chain data, and demand forecasts. Support product allocation activities by maintaining component allocation data for new and existing products. Perform data analysis related to inventory scrap reviews and historical shipment trends. Assist with customer material return reviews and disposition tracking. Support consignment and aging material reviews by validating inventory data and claims. Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on operations processes, reporting, and analytical tools. Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Demand Management, Supply Chain, and Global Service teams on various projects and initiatives. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. Strong analytical, statistical, and problem‑solving skills. Interest in inventory management, supply chain operations, and business analytics. Ability to analyze data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with data visualization, ERP systems, Oracle, or Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Compensation The base hourly range for this role is$25.50-$47.00.This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
