ITOC Analyst - Operations Center

Our client is seeking an ITOC Analyst to support a 24/7/365 Data Center Operations environment within a large medical center. This team serves as the frontline support for mission-critical infrastructure and is responsible for ensuring all systems, equipment, and facility operations remain fully operational at all times. This position operates on a rotating shift schedule similar to hospital clinical staff, providing around-the-clock coverage across both day and night shifts. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a high-availability environment, thrives in fast-paced operational settings, and is capable of balancing proactive monitoring with hands‑on technical support work throughout the shift. The workload can vary significantly day-to-day — some shifts may involve primarily monitoring and preventative checks, while others may require rapid response to multiple operational issues at once. Schedule This team operates 24/7/365 with continuous on‑site coverage. Shift Structure: 2 days on / 3 days off rotating schedule Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Responsibilities Perform routine walkthroughs of the data center environment to ensure all systems and equipment are functioning properly Continuously monitor mission‑critical infrastructure including environmental systems, network connectivity, and facility operations Support day-to-day operational work such as cabling, hardware connectivity, GI/interface support, and infrastructure troubleshooting Monitor for potential facility risks including water issues, environmental alerts, firewall concerns, and other operational disruptions Respond to incidents, alarms, outages, and operational issues in a timely manner Assist with hardware, rack, patching, and cabling support within the data center environment Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining detailed operational documentation and shift updates Support a high‑availability healthcare environment where uptime and operational continuity are critical Ideal Background Experience working in a Data Center, NOC, Operations Center, or mission‑critical IT environment Familiarity with cabling, infrastructure monitoring, hardware support, and operational troubleshooting Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with an around-the-clock operations team Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations Experience supporting healthcare or enterprise environments is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Medasource
