Canadian Mental Health Association, Haliburton Kawartha PineRidge (CMHA HKPR) is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our Board of Directors. If you are committed to making a difference in our community and have skills or experiences that can help guide our organization, we would love to hear from you!

About CMHA HKPR: We are a non-profit organization working to improve the lives of people in our Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) community, through leadership, collaboration, and the continual pursuit of excellence in community-based mental health and addictions services. Our vision is a community that embraces and fosters the mental health of everyone.

Who We're Looking For:

Commitment to the mental health of people in the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge (HKPR) community
The ability to commit to attending monthly board meetings (in-person/virtual) plus participating in committee work requiring additional regular meetings
Brings diverse perspectives including clinical settings, healthcare, accounting, information technology
Leadership
Passionate community connector with fundraising experience
Has experience with community based mental health
Satisfactory police records check and proof of receipt of full COVID-19 vaccine will be required
We strongly encourage applications representing minority and Indigenous backgrounds and from individuals with lived experience
