Are you the pro friends call when the easy fixes fail? At Service Professionals in Union, NJ, we’re looking for a Residential Plumbing Diagnostics Specialist who combines craftsmanship with clear communication — the kind of expert we’d happily send to our own mother’s house.

We’re a family-owned, New Jersey home services company (plumbing, HVAC, electrical) — not a franchise. We take care of our people so they can take exceptional care of our neighbors. That’s our mission.

• Lead residential service and repair visits, including the hardest diagnostics
• Lay out honest options — repair vs. replace, financing, and service agreements — so homeowners can decide with confidence
• Build trust that turns first-time callers into repeat customers who ask for you by name
• Track your performance and hit revenue and service targets you’re proud of

• Seasoned residential plumbing know-how from real home calls
• Comfort using ServiceTitan, iPads, and digital invoicing
• Working knowledge of local codes and safety regulations
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Fluent in English and fluent in kitchen-table conversations

• Base pay: $25–$50/hr depending on experience
• Uncapped bonuses — high performers commonly earn $100,000–$200,000+ total
• Health and dental paid; deductibles covered; 401(k) for full-time team members
• Take-home truck and gas card; dispatch from home — skip the commute
• On-call that’s humane: rotation typically once every 12–15 weeks across the department
• Strong pipeline of work: we can’t guarantee hours, but we push hard in local marketing to keep your schedule steady

This is a field-forward role. Expect to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and work in hot/cold environments (crawl spaces included). You’ll regularly lift 50+ pounds and rely on close vision with the ability to adjust focus. Weather changes? You’ll be outside through New Jersey’s seasons when the job requires it.
